After Downloading

STEP 1)
Install the software. You will have downloaded a file called csmart.exe for the full version or demo.exe for the demo version. To install them, go to WINDOWS EXPLORER and double click you mouse on the file and the installation will begin. An icon will be put on your desktop automatically. Click on the icon on your desktop to start the program. Note: to un-install ChartSmart, click your WINDOWS taskbar and click on PROGRAMS and CHARTSMART where you are given the option to deinstall the software.

STEP 2)
Try it for a few minutes. When you are running ChartSmart always use the F2 key where you can get help. You can print the help and you can click on the AUDIO HELP button. Try displaying some charts and running some of the sample filter sets provide in ChartSmart. Refer to the INVESTOR LEARNING CENTER on our home page for various strategies you can use when creating filter sets.

STEP 3)
Update your data. There is a password built in to give you a 30 day trial so you do not need to contact us to begin your trial or get a password. In order to do your update simply click on the DATA button to enter the Update Menu. Then click on DOWNLOADER, DOWNLOAD, and CONTINUE. Next, log on to the net (if you are not on a permanent connection) then ChartSmart will automatically download the files you require.

STEP 4)
Continue your 30 day trial. If you have any questions during the trial email us at info@chartsmart.com or call us toll free. As your near the end of your free 30 day trial, email or phone us if you wish to subscribe, and we will issue you a personal downloading password so you can continue to use ChartSmart. Remember there is no obligation in taking our trial.
