The ADX indicator by Wilder is a complicated indicator included in ChartSmart. It often requires not only a specific value but also to specify the trend of the ADX. ChartSmart Pro allows you to specify the previous ADX, +DI and -DI so that you can actually specify the trend in these indicators. For example, one way one might use the ADX is:
When ADX rises above both +DI and -DI it may indicate that the market is becoming overheated and similarly one might take profits when ADX turns downwards from above +DI and -DI. You may wish to go on the web and search on how to use the ADX indicator.
