A blue line on the volume scale on a chart represents a volume day/week where the volume exceeded the second highest volume on the chart by over 50%. The reason why we have this feature is so that if there is a volume spike on a chart that is for example 10 times any of the other volumes then all the other volumes will get scaled down so they are unreadable. In order to get the exact figure for the volume on that day just click on the chart on the volume bar to get the quote window which will display the information.
